About This Class
MULTISENSORY, CHILD-LED APPROACH For children aged 3 ½ to 4 ½ learning music means exploring sound with their whole body. A multisensory approach helps them make sense of their environment and build early cognitive and mental representations. When learning happens through movement, play, exploration, and peer interaction, children also grow socially and emotionally. Collaborating with others teaches them social rules and strengthens cooperation, empathy, and confidence. A child-led music-and-movement approach not only nurtures musical skills—it supports the child’s overall development through active engagement with the environment and with peers. When encouraged rather than judged, children at this age can sing, improvise, and even create their own musical ideas.
